Wednesday Night Card Class - Only 3 Spots Left

I love how this card came out. We will be using Basic Gray's beautiful White Celebration cardstock which I embossed along with their deep purple cardstock.
The flower is coloured with Copics and then I went back with a white gel pen to highlight and then used some Tim Holtz Rock Candy on the tips. You can't see the bling, but it is there. This is a stand up card, based on Yvonne's card.

I have 2 more to go, one is half designed and the other I am not sure what we will be doing.

Class cost is $15.00 and you will go home with a nice selection of embossed and unique cardstock.

Please bring a white gel pen.

Hail The Size of Golf Balls!!

Okay,if you live in Pictou County, then you just saw hail the size of golf balls about 30 minutes ago. Wow, I have never seen hail that big! My husband was wondering if our vehicles would be dented. And, now the sun is shining. And the rain was so cold. I think I turned my computer off about 1:30 due to the thunder, no lighting, just thunder and then finally the storm! I think it's finally over!

Yeah!

Update on my tooth - The dental appt went wonderful. Dr. McKenna in Stellarton and his assistant are the best. For some reason I was extremely apprehensive about this tooth, it was a back molar which had a crown on it and had been filled, but for some reason according to an orthodonist ,could not be saved (and you know they want to make money,so it was an honest opinion).

Anyhow, that part went smoothly, out without any fuss. I was home by 5:30 but my washer had broken and I wanted to get my clothes washed right away. So, hubby and me went to the laundromat and I really did not exert myself, did not lift anything or walk a fair distance. Anyhow, came home, laid down and then started shaking and was freezing. Now, my house was like 98 degrees so something was up. I wrapped a blanket around myself and figured it must be my blood sugar dropping. So Lawrence made me some tomato vegetable soup (cause we did not have the good chicken kind (LOL) and after some sips of that I started to feel a lot better. It took 2 sessions of soup and about an hour and I was back to normal. I guess not having anything since 12 oclock probably did not help. But I am slowly getting back to normal, just can't eat a lot! Which is good!

Just a quick post to say that Fargocat Shops will be open this Sunday only from 10 - 4.

New Card + Just Rite Order Placed

Hope you like this card,it is easy to do. Black and White looks elegant in any shape, just stamp a border, then stamp one image and cut around it. Add your layers, ribbon and then just pop up your central image. Quick and stunning.
These images were a free item we received at CHA, have no idea who they are sold by.

Last night I placed my first order from Just Rite, very exciting as I haven't used ths line before. We will be doing a Xmas card class with them as soon as they arrive.

I will talk about them a little more in another post and put some of their cards up so you can see what we will be creating.

The Tattoo!

When people say you must see the Tattoo when you come to Nova Scotia, believe them!

My first time and I guess I wish I had gone sooner. This event just gives you goosebumps from the first dramatic curtain raising. I honestly did not know we could stage an event like this and give it proper justice.

It has a little bit of everything for everyone, even down to the new RCMP puppy on stage. Go, you will not be disappointed.

On a side note, my sister-in-law won the 50/50. I know, we did not believe her either! We followed her to check her ticket, all the while thinking, it can't be her ticket, but, hey we will humour her! Guess I will never doubt her again!

Oh and it was just a small door prize that night, over $8,000 dollars! Yep, you heard me right, that was half of the $16,000. +

Where did they get the ticket to go to the Tattoo, from me!! Did they show their appreciation, yes!! Me and Lawrence had a very happy drive home to Eureka at 11:30 that night. A nice little amount to put towards our trip to Florida next year!

Thanks Priscilla and John!
