Boy is my Face Red!!
I am here trying to order new business cards with my new Logo - Fargocat Shops - because my other business card has only my blog name on it which is okay - but for CHA, I really need the other name.
Okay, for some reason, I was not getting the whole blog, email connection because I happened to check the blog email account and it was stuffed with emails. Now some of them were comments on the blog which I do see (I have a approve message to weed out the blatant advertising comments, of course) but a few were questions that I did not reply to.
I am so sorry, please accept my apologies for not replying to the email. I was checking the shop account faithfully every day for messages but missed checking my blog mail one. Heavens, it's lucky I have a business! (LOL)
Now I am not sure how to shut off comments if someone goes on vacation, I will have to look into that one, but if you sent me an email asking me about a purchase, please just email me again as I clean out my inbox. And, I am so sorry!
I am learning!!

First Card Created!
This is the first House Mouse card we will be creating next week in the card classes.
I used Bazzill cardstock for the base, then used a Sissiz die to cut out the inside with a special ornament die as well. You can see the House Mouse stamp is actually mounted through the die to the inside. I used an impression die on the white to give it some dimension, then added Copic markers, a bit of glitter and some diamond stick ons. I quite like it!!
Check back tomorrow for the next card! There will be 3 for the card class.
Off the watch the rest of the US Open!

Fargocat Shops Open Saturday from 10 - 4
Good Morning!
Finished my card, but I can't show it to you. Hopefully it will pop up on a blog in a week or so! I sort of when a little Rambo on it, I am not the whole romantic, embellishment type but when I looked back at the class we took with Tim Holtz, it sort of all came together! Guess that is why he is a genius. Looking forward to seeing him up close in person in a few weeks to see what he is doing for Christmas!
Fargocat Shops will be open on Saturday from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
I am working on clearing out my stamp room area downstairs. Purchased a beautiful new glass table for my classes which I can't wait to get started on. Classes are going to start the week of Canada's birthday with a special House Mouse Christmas class with stamp included in price of the class. Plus I will be offering Copic Classes a little later, the cost will be $15.00 plus you get 3 Copic Ciao Markers of your choice.
We will start with the basics and work up to more advanced colouring. These will probably not start until later in the Summer or we will see how demand is to start them in July.
Also scrapbook classes will start with some Summertime Layouts! Once I get my room organized, I can get going! Just keep reading the blog or newsletter for updates!
Well, have to get ready for my day job! Hubbie is cooking breakfast, guess the tables will soon be turned and I will be cooking breakfast! (hmm, wonder how I can get out of that one)

I really celebrated my birthday!
I took the whole weekend off!!
Friday I went to Halifax for most of the day, but I checked my mailbox before I left and sure enough, a gorgeous card from Yvonne was waiting in there. This picture does it absolutely no justice. I have to try and see if I can get a better shot of it. Thanks Yvonne for making my day. My husband gave me the complete set of Sex and the City DVD/s which I love and we went out to Moxies for supper and then home.
And then I cleaned my house and straightened out my stamp room (finally)and started to create a card which I finally had to leave and look at today to see how it is looking. Do you find that, you have to leave something and come back for new perspective? I do.
Well, must run and take a peek and see if I can finish it off tonight.

Thanks Yvonne for the Blog Card!
I know I have to share it, but I still love it! Yes it's my birthday today!
I am celebrating with a day off tomorrow, but having my cake today! (LOL)
My husband got me the complete Sex and The City CD's which I love. I like watching shows I have seen before..... at my age, I probably forget the ending anyway, right???
Have to laugh,I am not getting younger, just feeling younger!
And I know someone elses birthday is also right around mine, so revenge will be sweet!
Thanks for your wishes, everyone!

New Cardstock!
I just wanted to share with you some new cardstock that just arrived. I am a self-proclaimed cardstock and ribbon freak. When I go to CHA the end of July and am faced with a ribbon vendor display the size of a MacDonalds, I know I am not going to be able to keep it together. The best part is I can touch it, and feel the ribbons and know exactly what I am ordering. Same for cardstock, if anyone out there is looking for a particular kind of ribbon or cardstock, let me know - I may be able to source it out.
The Paper above is from Coordinations and I have the pattern Embrace pictured Above. When you look at the picture it shows you what it looks like sanded and unsanded. It is absolutely to die for cardstock. The picture does not do it justice. You can sand as much of it as you want, the back side is black and embossed with flowers. The cost is $1.00 a sheet. Really, you only need two sheets, for a double layout and just add pictures. It is that easy and awesome! Simple and Fabulous scrapbook layout. If you go to www.coredinations.com you can read more about this paper.
The other is Jillibean Soup "Numbers" by Coredinations. Again, it is a sandable product, but the background is all numbers, would make a great layout for or cards for birthdays, etc. The price on the Asparagus cardstock is $.80 cents a sheet, all are 12 x 12. If any of you purchased the blue Jillibean Flowered background at the Retreat, this is the same cardstock, only in a number background. If you would like a sheet put aside, let me know. I only have 20 sheets of each.
Yvonne, wish you were closer. Can't send only 2 sheets of cardstock to you! (LOL)
Tomorrow, I will be editing the Fargocat Shops site as many items have sold out now and have to be cleared out.
Watch for a post tomorrow on my hours for this Sunday!
Deborah
